Welcome to The Freeloading Wizard!

You may be wondering why someone would go through the trouble of spending so much time trying to make miniscule amounts of money on the internet when they could just, say, do some gig work on the side. Truthfully, I ask myself that same question maybe 200 times per day right now as I "research" and test out freeloading methods.

This all started a couple of weeks ago when I was driving home from the grocery store and some moron in a Landrover merged into the side of car and promptly sped away.

Unfortunately, I was just fine. Now I'm on the hook for $2,000 to fix my car because of my stupidly high insurance deductible. While in practice that isn't really a huge issue, as I have a decent income as a software engineer, it's the principle of it that pisses me off.

Now I have to spend $2,000 of my hard-earned money to fix my piece of shit car when that money would better serve me in my high-yield savings account or investment accounts. Luckily, I came across a series of videos by one of my favorite YouTubers, Mikey Millions or Kamikaze Cash that inspired me to make all of that money back with interest. I highly recommend giving Mikey's playlist a watch as it's the inspiration for this blog, though I do hope I can add onto his dedication to the art.

In this blog, I'll be testing out various methods of making money from around the internet, whether that be churning, "freeloading", or actually contributing to the economy in some way. I don't imagine the ROI on my time will be incredibly high, but through willpower, grit, and stubborn dedication I will fix my car on other peoples' dimes.

And, of course, I'll be diligently reporting on my methods, profits, losses, and other findings in the hopes that you too can freeload off of other peoples' hard-earned money.

You can read on "Freeloader" methods in the Freeloader section, various online contract and gig-based work that I personally have done in Online Work, my reviews of various methods, deals, apps, and companies in the Reviews section, and finally keep up with my personal journey over in the Blog.

Eventually, I'll make a live running counter of all of my income from this project on the homepage. In addition to the plain freeloading, I plan on using the proceeds to make low-risk interest and sound investments, so I'll hopefully add in a stock portfolio tracker too.

Stay tuned and thanks for coming to my blog!
